Missouri River Intake - Screen Structure and Tunnel

Sealed Bids will be received by the Garrison Diversion Conservancy District (Owner) at its Headquarters, 401 Hwy 281 NE, mailing address PO Box 140, Carrington, ND 58421 until 2:00 p.m., local time, on May 11, 2021, for the Red River Valley Water Supply Project, Missouri River Intake, Screen Structure and Tunnel, McLean County, North Dakota, Task Order 2530, Contract 2.

The proposed Work is generally described as follows:

Construction of the foundation and installation of piping in the Missouir River for a future submerged passive intake screen with a capacity of 165-cubic feet per second.  In addition, the Project includes the installation of approximately 1,600 feet of 72-inch diameter tunnel connecting the existing wet well / shaft on the river bank to the screen structure foundation in the river. Construction also includes a concrete liner in the existing 42-foot diameter by 65-foot deep shaft. The Project will be constructed under a USACE Nationwide Permit No. 12, with protection of threatened and endangered species and other requirements.
