The mission of Garrison Diversion is to provide a reliable, high quality and affordable water supply to the areas of need in North Dakota. Over 77% of our state residents live within the boundaries of the District. I would like to comment on the impact the President’s FY2008 budget request for the Garrison Diversion Unit (GDU) has on the effort to provide reliable, high quality and affordable water supplies to the citizens of North Dakota.
